ABX-CRO is an international contract research organization based in Dresden. We provide worldwide services in the manufacture, testing and approval of pharmaceuticals and diagnostics. Our IT department develops infrastructure, looks behind the scenes, solves problems calmly and finds new ways of working.

Your Responsibilities

  • Ensure the availability and management of heterogeneous IT systems.
  • Manage network security solutions for email, web access and firewalls.
  • Help select, introduce and further develop modern IT tools.
  • Provide user support and training.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
  • Install, configure and administer clients and servers.
  • Maintain existing system components.

Your Profile

  • Vocational training in an IT-related field, a relevant degree or a comparable professional qualification.
  • An independent, solution-oriented and conscientious approach to work.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, commitment and teamwork.
  • Several years of professional experience administering complex IT infrastructures; extensive experience is preferred.
  • Ideally, experience with one or more of VMware, Microsoft Active Directory, Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS) or HCL Notes/Domino.
  • Excellent German and good English language skills.
